Premium Audit Reviewer

Primary Purpose

Provides a quality review of insurance premium audits for Worker’s Compensation and General Liability policies.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities – Job Description

A Premium Audit Reviewer will be part of a team that reviews audits to determine the accuracy of class codes and client requirements, as well as, check for grammatical errors. A Premium Audit Reviewer will work from home , but they are required to work a specific number of hours and days each week.

A Premium Audit Reviewer will perform the following task:

  • Examine completed audits for accuracy
  • Correct completed audits based on rules and regulations for class code(s), specific state(s) and client(s)
  • Correspond with auditor to gather additional information as needed
  • Review a minimum of 25 audit reviews per day

NEIS will provide the following:

  • On the job training for software and SOP
  • Benefit Pack age - Matching 401K, Dental, Life, Medical, Vision
  • Weekly pay
  • Computer and other equipment needed to complete job effectively
  • Reimbursement of miscellaneous expenses, such as, phone, internet, etc. – monthly

  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation and General Liability rules for multiple states
  • Proven track record of performing 25+  audit reviews daily
  • Proven track record of meeting quality goal requirements
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience as a reviewer
  • Ability to work independently to achieve company goals
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and tax documents
  • Strong judgement and critical thinking skills
  • Competent use of spreadsheets, word processing and e-mail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Internet Access
  • Pay is based on experience


  • Knowledgeable in audit procedures for multiple states
  • Associates degree or higher in Business, Accounting or related field
